Abstract
Cindy Le, a second generation Vietnamese American born in the United States, talks about her family history, particularly her father's service in the South Vietnamese Army and his subsequent thirteen-year imprisonment after the war. She describes her frustration with high school textbook descriptions of the Vietnam War.
