Dong, Minh Quang
Abstract
Father Quang Dong recalls his experiences escaping Vietnam with over sixty passengers on a boat for seven days and six nights. A Thai ship dropped them off near Malaysia where they were set up in a refugee camp in Pulau Bidong. He describes his religious education--he was ordained in 1991 and is currently serving in a Vietnamese parish in Oakland.
