Rosenblatt, Lionel

Abstract

Lionel Rosenblatt discusses his experiences as a former foreign service officer with the CORDS program in Vietnam, whose goal was to gain support from the rural population for the government of South Vietnam. He organized a way to evacuate by air between 200-400 Vietnamese before the communist takeover of South Vietnam. He was also the former president Refugees International in Washington, a non-profit organization that advocates for displaced people around the world.
