North, Don
Abstract
Don North was a photojournalist and radio reporter during the Vietnam War beginning in 1964, covering three major phases: the South Vietnamese Army (ARVN), the introduction of American Marine battalions, and the final phase--the disarray and evacuation of US soldiers due to disorganization, physical and mental health, and other issues. In 1968, he reported on the attack of the US Embassy by Viet Cong guerrillas during the Tet Offensive.
