Kumar, T

Abstract

T Kumar work as Director for International Advocacy for Amnesty International USA. Investigations into human rights abuses in Vietnam have been difficult given the limited access in an official capacity to the country, so the organization has resorted to other measures, such as interviewing people and crosschecking facts. He encourages Vietnam to take immediate steps to release political prisoners, stop persecution against religious minorities and other abuses against political opponents so that the country can be considered a responsible partner in the world.
