Quach, Tien
Abstract
Quach Tien was born in Saigon, Vietnam and left the country when he was three years old. He recalls the discrimination the family faced because his father had served in the ARVN (Army Republic of Vietnam). He became a US citizen in the late 1980s and later enlisted in the US military, currently serving in the Marine Corps. He was awarded Soldier of the Year.
